so gibson offers alumized or stainless steel,  SS is 1/2 the price about, whats the difference

also Gibson is cheaper than the magna flow,  which is better>?

also  the ones that split off behind the rear wheels, would that look good on an H3  havent seen it.  I tow, so i was thinking of taking the exhaust away from the back

links:  split rear:   http://www.gibsonperformance.com/products.asp?pid=17692

extreme split rear (behind rear wheel): http://www.gibsonperformance.com/products.asp?pid=14296

thanks guys,   wifes letting me spend some $$  LOL

might be able to work  is a grill guard or painted grill too.

I moved your post here for future references...and to keep it with all the other exhaust topics

I have a Gibson #312700 aluminized @ $362.95...I think you have it backwards..the Stainless is just prettier, no difference in performance, just more expensive..SS version #612700..@ $497.95  look here -----> GIBSON

Borla is okay too, but again, more expensive for no big difference in looks or performance..so why pay more?

http://www.performance-air-filters.com/performance/buy.php?makeid=28&year=2006&modelid=717&partid=83&brandid=3519

The question I have is do the other exhaust systems sound better?

In the same position....can't decide whether more $$ for the magnaflow is worth it!

For me its always the sound of the exhaust first, then the fit and then the price, I also throw other factors in like where the exhaust is made (USA or otherwise) and the companies product history.
