well, i got my intake kit today. was a little nervous at first as i read it was for the 3.5l motor and i have the 3.7l. the advertisement on the site said it was for both, only one way to find out! and it fit, much to my excitement. i will post pics tomorrow. seems like a decent kit as far as quality. i have always run k&n kits for years, and i liked them very much. i thought i'd try something different since this was the only one supposedly available for the '07. i will miss the sound the k&n makes when you stomp the pedal. the true flow uses the stock intake box to eliminate hot air from engine bay entering, an idea i like. the filter they use is a foam, oiled filter. another new for me, which i like. i will  keep everyone posted on any issues i might have or any mpg increases.

be careful with the foam filter!! I'm sure they are improved now than they were when they first came out but we used to change alot of damaged MAF sensors on cars/trucks that used foam. The power of the motor sucking the air actually sucked the oil right through the foam filter which uses larger pores than a paper element filter.

So, where are the pics?

I have been considering the AEM Brute Force CAI and the K&N

AEM uses, AEM’s lifetime DRYFLOW Synthetic air filter is 99.4% efficient in FINE DUST testing, filters dirt as small as one micron, and never needs filter oil! I do like the sealed idea from True Flow also.

I am interested in this, I got sick of cleaning and putting oil on filters. http://www.aempower.com/ViewCategory.aspx?CategoryID=25

I asked them (AEM) and they said it can be used on all GM 3.5L engines, they just have not updated the site. I had good luck with the AEM intakes on a few of my Turbo cars.
