Actually, the best thing to use is a mixture of glycerin (aka 'glycerine') and water, as it won't deplete the natural oils which your tires are comprised of. Many middle to 'low-end' tire dressings have a tendency of depleting the natural oils from within the rubber compound; thus, promoting sidewall cracking (weather-checking) over time. This is also why those who have utilized some of these products on their vehicle dashboards have noticed that it too will begin to crack after a while. Glycerin may be somewhat hard to locate, but it does work the best. Also try and stick with the 'high-end' water-based professional tire dressings, as their technology has become much better throughout the past several years and they will also do a good job.

Have you noticed that on the show Unique Whips all they use is Armor All? Now I assume this is just product placement but you'd think they would work out a deal with a better company than Armor All.
