I've scoured the internet best I can to find postings on how to do this.

It seems like maybe it is best handled by the dealership???

I am trying to install these clear front turn signals:

But im being told you need to have the front bumper removed to get to them.

Any help?

I may be wrong, but I don't think you have to remove the bumper.  I think you just need to remove the grille.  From what I've been reading Dennis does it regularly...just a few bolts and it's off.  If you do have to remove the bumper it's no big deal.  I removed mine when I installed the factory off-road lights.

Great! Thank you very much.

Do you know if there has been any documentation on how to do this? I've tried once and ended up realizing I was probably going to destroy something in the process.

I appreciate anyone's help!

Dennis brings the grill to bed with him
But that all you should have to do to install those lights

Remove these two 10mm bolts from through the front of the grille.

Now remove these two 10mm bolts from eithe side of the radiator cap (they point towards the rear)

Then these last two nuts on the far left and right of the top of the grille...Then just tug slightly on either end and the grille will pop off..

Dennis, does it help to have the grill guard off or is there enough room to work while leaving the guard attached?  I wanna gain access to the turn lights so I can install my strobe package in there but am hesitant if I have to take the grille gaurd and everything else off too. (just too much work)

Sorry I really can't answer that with any certainty..But just guessing, I would say the gaurd should come off first..

I doubt you will have to take it to the dealer.  The grille comes off very easy(as Dennis has indicated), and you may have to remove the black plastic piece that fits behind the grille (2-4 bolts...I can't remember).  Let us know how it turns out!

Guys, thank you all for your feedback and direction. I took the bumper off this evening but hit a dead end.  I think I might end up needing to take this to the dealer for service.  I attached some pictures to show whats going on. But basically, it seems like theres no way in hell to get the turn lamp box out without removing what appears to be the whole darn side skirt.   Ideas?

Yeah, I donno..But I know the fender liner is pretty easy to remove..It's held in with the reuseable rivet type pins..But I would remvoe the tire first to let you have more room to handle the fender liner..Good luck
