Hi All,
I need one more piece to the puzzle and that is the fuel door (chrome).  I have searched the archives and didn't receive too much info.  Please provide with a good place to purchase.  I am pretty sure I want it to say hummer on the fuel door.  Also, is putco a good brand?  Any suggestions.

I'm no expert, but I suspect that if you want it to say Hummer, then you are going to need to get the OEM fuel door cover, as any other manufacturer would have to pay licensing costs to use the brand name on theirs.  But I'm not 100% on that.

If you can live withou the Hummer name, the search tool does reveal several threads with pics of various manufacturers.  Once you see one you like, check out our sponsors and see if they carry it!

I've only seen cheap-looking plastic "chrome" from them...I wouldn't put them on a luxury SUV myself..

I have to agree. Putco stuff looks like the OEM ABS stuff, which is FINE for small stuff, but not for a MAJOR item like a fuel door. IMO

I've got the same one, whats the trick to getting it up flush with the fender? I can't get rid of the gap on top and one side.
