That is why you should not buy cheap hitch equipment

Although I think if we were all smart enough to buy Hummers, we are smart enough not to drive off a cliff.

I drive a truck weighing 16,000 lbs, pulling a 89,500 lb trailer. The truck is 25 feet long, and the trailer is 53 feet long. I do this safely all day long. It all depends on how you set it up.

OK and that is why I asked..I don't know these things..just looked a little risky to me. I assume you also drive a much larger rig tho? (cab)

I tow this little dinghy around for bream fishin with a 3/4 ton but I got brakes on all the axles and I don't drive off cliffs. The truck weighs 6840 with tools and extra diesel, the boat is 10,000 and the trailer is 4000.
