This may have been talked about before but I thought I would put a post since we have seen several H3's come in over the last 2 weeks with a common issue on the wipers.

For those of you clearing snow from the windshield, try to clear as much away from the path of the wiper arms as much as possible. Especially in those two areas down in the hood. The wiper motor has a built in shut down switch that shuts the wipers off when the motor reaches a certain temperature and they will not work again until the motor has had time to cool. It's typically caused by snow and ice build up around the path of the wiper arms which causes the motor to strain, overheat and shut down. I know it sounds stupid, but this might save you from having to pull over on the road because they stopped on you.

just my 2 cents for the evening. :)

funny how quickly you learn the little things as you're exposed to whiny customers every day.  thanks for the tip.

'preciate the tip man! I am heading back into the dealer to ask about the drivers side wiper as it does not appear to wipe clean compared to the passenger side.

Only 4 days old...so, I assume they will replace for free :)

Good tip, thanks. Glad I live in Arizona, although we did see several snowflakes today.
