It seems some members of this forum have expressed that earlier links I have posted left them in various degrees of physical distress.  While all my posts have been Hummer related, and while this link may also cause some physical "reaction", I hope that it is more to some of the other members approval.

Somehow I don't think you're their target audience, so I'm sure they'll get over it!

I know who you are talking about.

Listen: This site is NOT marketted as a family site, nor is it marketted as a young adult or children's site.  It is ultimately the Parent's responsibilities as to what their children do and don't do on the internet.  If you want to post something, go ahead.  While I completely respect and understand people's points of view when it comes to that subject (since it is a sensitive subject) and can empathize with thier concerns, they also need to keep in mind that in the unfortunate event someone does come here, whether a child or adult, and finds anything offensive, there is nothing on the site indicating there will NOT be anything like that on here.  All they have to do is click on that little X to close it, and it will dissappear.

If you want to post something, you do that.  Even though this site is NOT marketted toward any certain demographic, I think we can all agree that this site is geared more toward an adult male demographic (and no, I'm not stereotyping) so there should not be anybody on here anyway that isn't supposed to be, which again, is ultimately a parent's responsibility to A) teach their children right and wrong, and B) monitor what they do on the internet.

If I hear one more time the excuse "but we can't watch them 24/7" well then you better damn well teach them right from wrong very quick, because unfortunately in the world we live in today, you have to.  Do I agree with it, hell no, but is that the way the world is? Hell yes.  Nothing we do on this forum is going to change because a few people present a theoretical situation about one child seeing something they shouldn't.  In our defense, I say, Where is that child's parents at that time?

Actually Hummerguy, while I agree with what you wrote, I was referring more to some members comments which were more along the lines of "where do you find this crap" or  in reference to my "topical" hummer posts(ie bubble gum, blingmobile, grape vines, etc).  Hey, I can't post gold all the time (close, but not quite), and there's bound to be some stuff others find lame.  Our moderators do a good job of keeping really offensive stuff off, and let's face it: If you own a hummer, you're an adult.

So, in agreement with you, if people find it offensive, don't go there, and train your own kids!
