What a mistake buying an imitation Hummer.  The H3 "Hummerado" is a hummer wannabe on a Colorado chassis.  Never mind the lack of power, never mind the wimpy horn, never mind the lack of glove box lights or mirror lights, never mind the lack of a hook to hang dry cleaning, never mind the window controls that are so far back a passenger in the rear seat could reach them better, never mind having to move the front seats up just to fold down the back seats, never mind the lack of heated side mirrors.  What about the problems?
  • Burning rubber smell
  • Windshield air leak
  • Interior roof "ticking" noise
  • Rear brake grinding noise

In each case the dealer needed to get a factory engineer involved and always the same story:  "We can't find the source of the problem - but we'll put it in the computer."

I hope that GM monitors this site and fixes the design flaws - and hopefully finds answers to the aforementioned problems.  In the mean time I'm looking f\orward to trading in my Hummerado in the fall - since it will be almost paid for then.  My dealer wants me to look at the H3T , but unless GM can get the bugs out - I'll buy an H2 or another vehicle altogether.

Hey...I have a great idea....let's join Hummerforums.com and with our very first post complain about how much the H3 sucks.  While I'm at it I'll also mention how I'm looking forward to getting rid of my H3.  I'll also complain about things that have already been addressed by GM with the 2007 H3(such as window controls, a more powerful engine).

Instead of coming on here and complaining about how much you hate your H3 you should've just kept your mouth shut, sold the thing, and bought yourself one of these:

I picture this guy driving down road weaving in and out of traffic, cutting people off, honking his horn while he digs through his glove box at night. No wonder his car smells like burning rubber. I don’t think he has a windshield leak, I think air is leaking from his head and causing some kind of ticking noise. H3 has more power than a lot of cars do. If you wanted to drive like an idiot you should of got a sports car.

I don’t see the problem with the window controls myself.

I call  for several reasons.

#1. You're too stupid to own a Hummer. You took a quick look at the forum and picked a couple of the topics in the H3 discussion area.

#2. If you purchased an H3 without knowing it did'nt have heated mirrors, vanity mirrow lights, glove box light or evena  hook to hang your dirty underwear you are again, Stupid.

#3. You weak attempt to get ANYONE upset here with our purchase failed, miserably.

You have been alive for many years now and the best you could come up with for an insult? A fake story with no plot? I bet your parents are proud.

I'm trading my H3 in for a Toyota Prius immediately.....thanks Hummerado...your such a genius.  You should post your thoughts and feelings on other forums that way everyone can benefit from your expertise.  Try this one  priuschat.com.

Cool.   Thanks Rut.   BTW, I was looking at a Pruis before I bought my H3, but the window switches were to easy to reach, the time between fill-up was to long and I was afraid the gas would stale, and the vanity plate "DWEEB" was already taken by Hummerado.

My comment to you would be.."stupidity on your part for not having noticed all the silly little nitpicky "flaws" before you purchased the H3!"  Did you not check it out thoroughly and test drive it first?  Most of us here did our research, drove it and knew it was the vehicle for us BEFORE we forked out the $$!  Mama always told me "Stupid is as stupid does"
