No, thank YOU!    I think the covered bridge will end up getting framed and hung once I get a chance to clean it up a wee bit more ... Both the wife and I are in to photography so needless to say our walls are filled with black and whites and even a couple of color shots here and there :-)

For your viewing pleasures .... some more of my stuff .. a bit older but ... was just starting doing macro when these were taken but the bee image actually got published in one of the news papers in Dayton, Oh.  I won the pic of the day and ended up as runner up for the week.  Ironically my buddy (Joe) Bobo  won with a sunset picture that week ..

Bwahahaha, I didn't even catch that bit until I read the brokeback comment LOL!  I think that pic is actually completely unedited with the exception or resize .. I know I have a b/w version of it hanging somewhere in the hallway at home .. It must be at least 2 if not 3 years old by now ...

Beautiful pics Zyne! I'm a bit of a novice photographer myself, those pics are really nice. #3 is my favorite.

Thanks Paige :-)  Always nice to get compliments about your work :-)  I obviously had no idea you're a "hobbyist" yourself .. by all means please feel free to share your own stuff, I would really love to see it sometime!
What do you mainly focus on, if you don't mind pardoning a bit of photographic pun .. :)

It wasn't much along the lines of wheelin' I guess but about the best one can do around here unless I'm willing to drive a couple of hundred miles to get to a good park ... I've found a ton of abonded/no longer used ranger trails to play on and with the addition of 1+ feet of snow it makes it a little bit more fun than just a slow, peaceful drive through the woods ..

Another one from Chovan Lake this past Saturday.  This was probably one of the last good snowfalls we will get this season ... We rarely have near white out conditions like this so had to take get a pic with the dirty iceberg in the foreground :-)
The lake itself is nothing special but there are a few old trails big enough to handle my tubby girl soo .. I didn't get any pics worth a cr*p from the trails though .. they were too wet and the snow entirely too deep for my lazy a$$ to get out in ...

Nice pic....I still waiting for the opportunity to take my Hummer out in the snow.  First, we need to get some snow!  I guess I'm just going to have to go back up to my uncle's cabin in NH and play in the snow.

I couldn't say that I have a particular focus ... I like pretty things, whether it's one of my pooches, cats, flowers, trees, clouds, rivers, etc.

I have a background in photography set-up/stylist for food, chocolates, gift items and when I was doing that I became interested in photography. I love taking pictures, even of odd stuff that no one else would find appealing.

Here are a couple of pics I uploaded a while back, there will be new pics on my website - when/if I ever get it done!

Well, whether you have a specific focus or not .. is pointless here, that much is clear LOL! .. your framing is outstanding .. DOF is too .. plus the color combo's in these pictures .. I have yet A LOT to learn ...

Yep, the "odd" pictures are usually the most interesting .. I personally have an obsession for the small things in life so to speak .. macro photography .. I don't know how many hours I've just sat and waited for some shots ... luckily things such as 180 mm macro lenses and tripods make things a wee bit easier :-)

Your butterfly pic is great by the way ... we have an annual show at the Krohn Conservatory every spring/early summer I try to get down to.  The abundance of nectar combined with the heat makes those critters soo dosile you can spend a good half day getting nothing but just amazing shots ...

WOW - Thank you very much!! That butterfly took me forever to get, it would not stay still!! I bet I took 50 pics before I finally got one I liked. I have several pics of butterflys on the flowers I plant, they are beautiful little creatures. I've got some great pics of a praying mantis on some of my mums, I'll have to post that one.

Thank you again - you made my night!
