except for the mud bucket in the foreground, the rest of the view is just awesome.  actually surprised i could get to this spot, considering how incapable the H2 is in the snow, and offroad in general.

we actually met a guy that was camping in the area, there are quite a few nice camp sites up there.  not a place to take a camper to, but some awesome tent sites.  where i was parked was clear of trees from a forest fire about 9 years ago, it's just starting to grow back.  here's a view from the road below.

it's north of Truckee, CA, the road to Verdi Peak lookout.  the lake is the same as a previous pic i put up about a month ago, Stampede Reservoir.

Outstanding.......Very nice shots.

I really appreciate it when you guys post photos of this nature. It really makes one
remember the purpose for which a Hummer was originally intended.
