Seen that one before Den .. would NOT mind giving that a shot ... There is a guy from Finland who did a similar thing with a birdman suit (www.birdman.com) but strapped RC jet engines to his feet .. wouldn't mind givin that one a go either ... Find me something stupid that involves leaving a plane/helicopter/jet/glider/baloon (LOL) midflight .. and I'm your guy .. I'll try anything twice .. assuming I survive #1 :)

And JDrew ... again, I've told everyone using that phrase .. you have never seen the crap we jump out of .. that plane on the video is a fricken pipe dream in the skydiving community ... at least from the "standard" umm .. equipment ... The Beech 18 they ended up dead stickin two years ago at our DZ I think out dates every single member on this board .. and that's not the oldest one LOL!

I give it 10 years before "Jumpin Jihadi Terra-chutists" take one from this idea...except with 20 lbs of C4 strapped to them...

That looks cool.  Not being a skydiver (and franly being a little freaked out by it), I can't first hand comment on the danger level, but it does seem to me that in any situation, as long as the equipment (ir plane or chute) and operator or working fine, your're pretty safe.  Maybe some day I'll try it.  Some people are freaked out being underwater/scuba diving, and I love that so, it's all a metter of getting over your fears.  Anyone I talk to who skydives says it is the best rush you can get.
