I went to pick up my truck from the dealership last night after a front end alignment was done. The service department was closed and my truck was outside. Looking at my truck from the front, about 15 feet away, the front tires were forming the letter A. One of the sales managers was not sure but said it did not look right. He advised me to leave it. I left it at the dealer last night and called them this morning. They didn't give me an answer they just said they would have a look at it. Shouldn't they look straighter up and down?

I learned an important lesson today. Don't file the paperwork until the job is finished. The specs for the correct alignment for this kit were different than the H3 specs. I gave them the alignment specs from the paperwork that came with the kit and the alignment was correct. The truck drives straight as an arrow. I don't know what the 07 H3 specs are but the specs for this kit are: Caster Left: 1.5 Caster Right : 2.0 Camber Left: 0 Camber Right: -1/4 Toe In: -1/32 Need Camber Kit: No

Here is the link to the Ready Lift web site. I do not see any information on the downloadable PDF file that gives alignment specs. http://www.readylift.com/products/sfID1/11 If I am not mistaken the specs are based on the amount of lift. My kit was a 3 inch lift this one is a 2.5 inch lift. Before you make a purchase I would advise you to contact someone at Readylift to see if they have alignment specs. Had Truxxx not supplied them neither NTB nor the Hummer dealership would have figured it out. My experience showed that alignment specs from the manufacturer of the key and not factory specs were needed to get my wheels correctly aligned.

ORIGINAL: importkiller one thing that most people fail to realize is that by cranking the t-bars you are extending the shock, in some cases past their limits. This is why some have suffered rough riding conditions after raising the front with a t-bar crank. You can use shock extender brackets or buy a set of shocks with a longer throw and your ride quality will be back to or damn near stock. Hey Imp.... By adding these shock extenders, wouldn't you risk bottoming out your shocks when you fully compress the front suspension while off roading??? Or will the ReadLift kit prevent this from happening??? If not then, maybe the rubber stops needs to be raised also... No???
