What does your local dealer charge for Hummer keyless entry remotes? My Hummer dealer wants $99 a piece plus $35 for programming for each of my cars (2 - 03 H2's). I'm curious to see what other dealerships are charging for new remotes and programming. I'm done with ebay because the listings show new remotes, and 3 out of 3 times I've won - I end up with junk that doesn't work and won't program. First one was superglued together and cracked. Can't check the battery if you can't even open it. Second one was completely corroded inside from water and didn't work. The 3rd one only 1 button worked and it looked like someone tried to superglue the circuit board pieces back together. Each one was advertised as new, or like new and they obviously weren't anywhere close to that. The Keyles Ride site is run by one of those same lying ebay sellers, so thats off the list too. What does your local dealership charge? I bet there's some that want even more than what mine is charging.

93miata, did you complain to ebay about those people and their faulty keyless remotes, you know you can do that in the dispute console.

Yes, of course...but it just seems that ebay lets you write a few characters in a box about the problem. I doubt anything will ever come of the complaint.

If nothing happens in about ten days, then you go back to the dispute console and escalate the complaint. If you paid with paypal, you should be able to get a refund from ebay or even from paypal themselves. Paypal also has a complaint dept.l One time a seller didn't send me a third seat that I had won, waited for about a month and a half, never came, emailed the seller 3 times, no response. Went to the dispute console , even then, took them like 10 days to respond. Came out with the excuse that it had been returned ( If that was the case, they should have emailed me immediately) the people finally sent me the 3rd seat. I was glad they still had it! Just make sure to open up the dispute within 45 days with paypal, 60 days with ebay. and yes, I've seen tons of those keyless fobs for the h2 with ebay. I believe it's the same fob for the escalade and the tahoe. Good luck! (' '

I paid with a money order, so I'll see if I can do anything for a fraud report with the post office. I can't even post negative feedback for the scammers, because they already threatened to leave a negative for me if I do, and I don't want to lose my 100% rating. Anyways, I found another site that sells the keyless entry remotes - www.ThePartsYouNeed.com The KR site wants $34 a piece for the H2 remote, and they're half that price on thepartsyouneed site with the instructions included. I ordered 1 this morning. https://www.thepartsyouneed.com/displayProductDocument.hg?productId=1259 I'll keep you guys posted. If it works good, I'm going to order one for my other H2 as well.
