Status: offline 		Found one on eBay and was wondering if it is just a cover like the putco or you remove the black one... the part # is 12499628

mine is a replacement piece
pop the black one out and pop the chrome one in

It looks awesome!  How does it attach to the hood?  Bolts, Screws or adhesive?  Was it very expensive (If I may ask)?

its a clip in  like  some dash  trims
just  hit it with ur hand to knock it in

i think list on them through the dealer was around 200+ bucks
