Anyone installed the GM chrome hood grille?

Found one on eBay and was wondering if it is just a cover like the putco or you remove the black one... the part # is 12499628

How does it attach to the hood? Bolts, Screws or adhesive? Was it very expensive (If I may ask)?

thx its a clip in like some dash trims just hit it with ur hand to knock it in i think list on them through the dealer was around 200+ bucks
