Hi,

I have a new H3 I just got on Monday, I love it. But, with just 200 miles on it I noticed a problem today. When I drive (manual trans) and hit about 5mph or so I started hearing noise coming from the dash. It sounds like engine noise coming in or something, and it stops when I slow down below 5mph. I dont understand what it could be. It gets louder as I speed up and lower as I slow down. It does it with the fan totally off and also does it with it on low with the recirculating air door closed. Any ideas?

with only 200 miles, I wouldn't even give it a second thought. Id drive straight back to the dealer and make them fix what ever it is. no questions asked.

Thanks. I agree. The dealer is 2 hours away, so I hope I can take it to the local dealer without alot of fuss. Thanks.

Well, I went and had it checked. Tech heard the noise. We drove another manual H3, no noise. Turns out there was a seal that fell off under the stick shift. All fixed with a new seal and some glue!

Thats good they found it but sound scary when you say they glued it.
just think the whole car could be glued together.

Life is good again!...I'm assuming that you had the fix done at the closer dealer...Cuz I was going to say, it don't matter where you bought it at, ANY HUMMER dealer should service you with a smile.

Yeah, I went to the close dealer. They treated me great - no loaner car though :-) But hey, it only took 3 hours or so.
