I installed the same unit in my 06 SUT...crystal clear sound and easy to install. Once you get the dash apart...

I'm about to pull the trigger on this...my dealer, Sewell Hummer of Dallas, installs the Neucleus from Log Jam Electronics. The auto power off feature and the ability to install into the H3 with a 6 disc changer and XM without having to use an FM loop is perfect. And the control from the dash buttons will be nice. And, like mentioned above, the answer is posted all over this forum

I hate to ask another Ipod question, but I have searched and have not found the answer. Both the web sites for the Log Jam Ipod solution and the USA Spec Ipod interface indicate that their product will only work with GM Hummer models up to 2006. Does anyone know whether either the Log Jam solution or the USA Spec solution will work with a 2007 H3? (Note, I have the Nav unit with XM radio, OnStar and Monsoon audio system factory installed, single in-dash CD disc player) Thanks, Jeff

ORIGINAL: RutDogg Here's what I purchased and installed in my H3. It's simple and easy to use. http://www.crutchfield.com/S-XPSHkPHgBxp/cgi-bin/ProdView.asp?search=usa+spec&i=581PA11GM If you have any questions you can go to this website and learn a bit more about the product. www.usaspec.com Where did you all tap into 12V+ power needed for the unit?

A cheap alternative is to use an FM transmitter for ipod. I hd one for my company car, stuck in my Hummer for a long trip to Moab and I was impressed. Sure it isn't digital but it wasn't bad either, especially considering is was about $25.00

Muddydawg75 - my manual says B1 is "Battery Positive Voltage". I haven't hit it with a meter. Do you know if this voltage is constant (never shuts off) or is switched? It sounds like it is going to be constant. Hummer Driver - while the FM transmitter is cheaper (and easier), you'll really appreciate the sound quality. I have a Pioneer unit in my Explorer, and you definitely will love the sound and the ability to control the iPod through the head unit.
