Love my truck.. the only 2 stupid design flaws I have found : cant drive with the tailgate down with a load.I guess I will have to remove the spare and mount all together,unless Im missing something? any clues.. the other bad choice from some psuedo designer from a fancy college the center console only opens away from the driver..(lousy for co-pilots)other than that I LOVE my new H2 sut..I wish MOTOR HEAD could fix this problem...

there are someon here that don't carry their spare when running around town, so removing it may be something to look into. motorhead fixes all that ails you, you just need to try harder. if that doesn't work, try a little primus . . .

Well I took off the rear tire and mount, Replaced licence plate light with trailer light 6 bucks and screwed the plate into the bumper, one expanable rubber plug 2bucks to protect the bushings. I can now drive with tailgate down and haul plywood or whatever..nice..
