This morning I have managed to get together two huge land use advocates for off-roading an so forth who will be on the radio in Hawaii today at 12 CST, 8 AM local Oahu time.

Marc, a.k.a. Inked and Mike Elliott organized this event.  Here is the info:

Hey Everyone,

Being that the Star Bulletin reporter left a lot of stuff out from my interview yesterday, Mike Elliott - President of the Hummer X Club Hawaii Chapter will be calling into 1027 Da Bomb at 8:00am tomorrow morning.

Mike will be talking about the following subjects:

- The State of Hawaii bill that will make it a crime to drive on the beach punishable by arrest and jail time.
- Our petition at www.forhawaiisoffroad.com
- Our website www.4x4boyz.com
- The LIVE blog with Governor Linda Lingle

Sam (the Man) will allow us to open the lines to the public, if you are stuck in traffic or already at work having your cup of coffee PLEASE make some time to call in at 296-1027 and share your thoughts!!

We need all the support for both the petition and the online Blog with the Governor. If you don't call in, log into the blog at noon and say SOMETHING!!

The more we show these politicians that we can be responsible and respectful to the public and the land the more chances we will have at getting what we want!!

No more complaining guys, it's about time we step up and do something about this!!

Much mahalos to all of you!!
Marc (aka Inked)

I managed to get one of our local advocates (Who's name is also Mark, and president of our Illiana Hummer Club) who has spoke at conferences here in the midwest to call in to talk about this also.  These two gentlmen are very educated about the facts and figures and are fighting to basically create "off-road playgrounds" for everybody.  I have a feeling you will be seeing alot more of these two.  Just wanted to share something I think is important for all of us.

This is just one of many things I told you guys I would be working on that are more about the BIG picture.  I'm not ALL fun and games over here at this computer screen

I don't think they have streaming.  I'm going to see if I can get a recording of the show and post it somewhere for us to listen to.

I'm listening in right now, they recorded Mike and will air his piece then open the lines for the public to call in. I spoke to Sam the main DJ there and told him that Mark Price will be calling in as well so LET HIM SPEAK!!

They are not streaming but I will have a copy of the show that I will post on my site over at www.4x4boyz.com and www.forhawaiisoffroad.com

As always, thanks Hummerguy and HF for your support!!

No problem dude.  The more Hummer owners, and off-road vehicle owners in general grow, the more this is going to become an issue.  We need to control it now before it gets out of hand and all the bad people give the good guys like us a bad reputation.

Ummm Mike, we're HUMMER owners/drivers .. we'll never be "the good" guys :(    I got saluted yesterday again .. this time by an old ex GF turned tree hugger .. THAT was disturbing!
Hopefully this will opened the eyes of SOME key folks and make the realize we're not destroying this, just out to enjoy it .. our way!

Inked, post us a link when you get the recording posted, I'd really like to hear this myself!

An EX-GIRLFRIEND you said, and you assume she was saluting you because of your H2 huh lol. I heard of people turning other people gay, but never turning other people into tree-huggers.  DAMN what did you do to the poor girl dude? lol

On a more serious note I actually sent her an e-mail today asking if that was a one finger salute I saw, she said yes and gave me the eco speach .. I'm thinkin' I'm pretty sure here LOL!
