Importkiller is right.  There is already serious work going into the H3 truck and a preliminary design has already been created.  As for the H4 I would be real surprised if that thing even makes it to production.  Why would the H4 be produced to compete with the Jeep Wrangler when the new Jeeps now have four doors.  The H3 is the Jeep Wrangler's main competition.  If I was a betting man I'd say that H4 won't ever make it to production.

thats a photshopped version of it. The actualy h3T or whatever they decide to call it will have a longer wheelbase than the h3. the mule pics are pretty damn cool looking IMO....can't wait till it hits the dealerships. There is a video I posted a while back in one of the forums of the mule caught on tape....gonna be nice.

The only pics I have seen are the spy shots with the black cover on the back.  Are there other pics?  If so, I'd sure like to see them.

if you can find that video I posted it has the black cover on it but you can tell that it's alonger wheelbase truck. I believe the rear doors are full size and doesn't go into the rear wheel well.

every H3 made after Feb. 1st will have child safety door locks ....

Hi all - new here so be gentle.  I know this is a touchy subject, but can I ask the source of this info?

Yesterday, I spoke to GM/Hummer in person and via email about this very question, and the answer was "no".  This could be a deal breaker for me - I'm set to have my local dealer locate an H3 for me in a specific color.  I know that "a properly installed car seat/child restraint will mitigate the need for child safety locks", but I have a very tall child with long arms for his age, and he can reach the door handle.  He listens to us generally, but the "boys will be boys" aspect tells me that he's going to yank the door open one day and either damage the car or himself.

Any insight on this topic would be GREATLY appreciated!  Thanks.

the source is a guy that works in the factory that make the h3's, they have been told of the changes months ago. Dealerships know nothing more than you or I...they have no real inside info, and if he did he would of course lie to you to sell one he has already on the lot, when the new styled versions come out dealers are going to get stuck with alot of the old style h3's.

I'd say that's a damn good source!!

The dealer was clueless, I called the 800 number listed on their website and emailed customer support.  They gave me the short "sorry that you're disappointed, but stop by your local dealer and test drive.....blah blah blah".  I'll see if I can get some more intel and wait it out if they're going to hit the lots this year.

Thanks for the response!
