Hello everyone. I’m ready to order new interior speakers for my H3. I decided to go with Crystal components up front, and Crystal coaxials in the rear. My only concern is the mounting depth. The front Crystals are pretty deep at 3.1”, and the rears are 2.938”. Do you guys think this would be a problem? I didn’t get a chance to pop off my door panels yet, and I really wanted to order these today. To those that swapped the speakers, what kind of speakers did you go with? I could use that as a reference.

Thanks!

I used infinity kappa perfects front and rear. The crystals should fit without a problem.

Thanks importkiller. Did you have a hard time snaking in new speaker wires through the doors? Also, did you use MDF trim rings for the speakers?

Thanks!

I just did speakers in all doors. I used Elemental Designs 6000.v2 components. Running the wire into the doors was kind of tricky. The rear doors were pretty east the front doors use a molex plug that you have to drill out a small hole to fit the wire through. Each  front door took me about 30 mins. As for speaker ring they are needed beacuse they sit far inside the door and you want to bring the out closer to the door panel. Hope this helps.
