Hey everybody,
My name is Amol and I am from Atlanta, GA. I am in grad school at gatech and  I am leaning towards buying an H2 in the next couple of weeks. I am currently driving a 2005 Subaru Legacy GT and I want to go for something MUCH bigger and taller to drive. I am choosing between H2 SUT/SUV. Preferably the T but I can't find enough used models so will robably go for the SUV. I am going to get something newer than '04 with less than 35000 miles (i have found plenty). Comming to that, could some of the older h2 owner please tell me about the things you like/dislike about the car. Some of the mechincal etc. problems if there are any with the h2 and some of the repair costs, oil changes. I dont think I will be off roading at all. More of city driving and commuting to school, friends places, clubs etc. All the help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks again!!

 to the forums.

You will be very happy with the H2.  It does not cost much more to maintain than any other SUV. And the coolness feature makes up for that.
Have you driven one yet?  You will be hooked right away. It's hard to explain, but once you drive one you'll understand.
You should not have any mech problems other than normal wear and tear for what you are planning to use it for
I can't think of anything that I don't like about my rig.
Remember to keep us posted and get some pic's up when you get it.

Yes, I test drove one yesterday and loved it. It is so high about the ground. My brother has a 400whp Subaru STi so I figured that we have one big and one fast car in the house hold :-). Yes the H2 has the coolness and the VIP image factor to it. Being an american car, I was concered about the mechnical problems with them, i know us cars used to have a lot but probably not too many issues now. My suby with engine mang. used to give me 10-14 mpg and the stats show H2 has about similar mpg so I am not too worried. What about super charger, does that kill my mpg?

If you keep your foot in it............Yes

The H2 is a very heavy vehicle and runs well with the 6.0 in it.  Adding a SC would be cool, but do you want that for everyday driving?

It may not be the fastest thing on the road, but it will go places that not too many can follow.

I was curious about the ebony interior. Is that a new thing only for the 2007s or is black interior also an option for the older models. I cant seem to find any used models with black interiors unless custom tailored.

Hey guys,
Thanks for all the support. Unfortunately, I decided not to go for the H2. Instead I got me a Black Chrysler 300c with 5.7L V8 Hemi. Although I still appreciate information from all you guys.

Thanks again
