I have to laugh when I see the prices for H3 accessories, like the locking fuel door for $199 (Teaka Toys). It is only worth $30 to $40 at the most. I thought Corvettes after market prices were a rip off but the H3 after market prices take rip-off to a whole other level. I just do not like being taken advantage of !

Switching from a stang to an LS1 was a huge shock to me in part price difference. You got to consider though, the H3 is brand new, not that many of them around, so the demand for parts isn't that high and they're going to make back their tooling costs on the first parts so they can later drop the price some and still have quite the markup. Also, having the hummer name has an effect on the price of parts. Even though the H3 isn't all that expensive, it still makes people think of the H1s and their high cost. Ever noticed how parts for a more expensive car are priced higher than parts for a cheaper car? Even if they are almost the same and the material cost was the same.
