Up where I sled at Hunters Range, a few years ago a bunch of guys were racing their sleds across the water of a small lake that was not frozen over.  It is really freaky to watch, as you know they are going under if it stalls.  Talking to the guys doing it, they said it's easy, and any sled with larger paddles on the track can do it, but no way I was going to try!  The truck is more impressive as it's sheer horsepower to the wheels keeping it up.
