Just a quick one, as production of H1 has stopped or is stopping does that mean all prices of H1's will start to rise??? Just curious...as seriously thinking flying over and getting one this year.

I'm waiting to see what the CNN 'Warrior One' will fetch at the Barrett-Jackson auto auction in Scottsdale, AZ this weekend.

I actually bought my H1 10 days before they announced that production will stop on the H1 although I heard alot about the prices going up etc etc I still yet to see it I recently was viewing various sites to check the prices and still simular with no change... but within time I believe the prices will eventually go up as they get more and more rare. unless of course the military has another auction and floods the market with surplus HMMWV's which is possible as well.... but yea honestly if you dont have the money or need for an H1 now dont worry about it just watch the prices... if worse comes to worse and prices do all of a sudden sky rocket... you could always wait till another auction and then prices will go down again if not just get a cheaper ex mil hmmwv

Well, it just sold for a million bucks, but the proceeds were donated to charity.

I don't think you will see a steady rise in pricing on the H1 - part of the demise of that truck is the fact that it was overpriced to begin with.

The Warrior One is not a good example of overall H1 pricing, it is a unique vehicle.  And, BTW, it went for WAY TOO MUCH money :)

FWIW, the production of the H1 stopped back in June of '06, so the "reaction" to the stop in production started right when they announced the end of the line.  Prices swelled a little bit at first, but things seem to have balanced right back to where they were before since then...

The one exception I have seem is that the 2-door H1 pickups have been going for more than they used to.
