I recently had my custom 18" wheels rotated and balanced. When the center cap was removed it was discovered that all bolts holding center caps on were cross threaded. Tech said it was factory defect. The problem is I purchased vehicle with custom wheels already installed so, I'm pretty much on my own. No tire and wheel center will repair the rim due to possiblity of causing more damage to rim. Machine shop says you can drill two new holes reseat center cap. ANy suggestions??
