I think the worst part must be making the 3-point turn at the top!

There's a bunch more pics and vids on my site. We have another trip planned for April, and there's also a big group going in June. I was thinking you were in that group somewhere.. I thought Phil was up that hill somewhere.. Interesting that when you reply to this message the OTHER group shows up.. Wonder what happens when I do this.. ORIGINAL: shortbus i'm sure the info i got was crap, considering i got it from a guide that's been taking people through the trails since jesus was a baby. he and a friend were the ones that founded the golden spike trail, but i really doubt he knows what he's talking about. Actually, my reply was to what sewie had heard, about the suicide etc... as was my quote. Yours just happened to be mixed in with it. I actually don't know if the kids were drinking or not (never asked).

These stories get passed down and altered so much its hard to know what's true unless you were there. Dan Mick is the man in Moab though, so I'd think Shortbus' version is pretty accurate.

Shortbus' version is vague at best.. unless I missed a detailed outline. I know my source, and what's accurate. I only know of two crosses off to the side of Lions back, and they were the result of the same accident. If there are any other crosses I'm not aware of it. It doesn't matter anyway.
