Hello everyone! I've just bought an 06 H3 and I'm already tire and wheel shopping. Thinking of going with 22's but still keeping in theme with A/T tires. (Hummers on low profile street/car/performance tires bug the hell out of me) I did a tire size comparison at 1010tires.com that shows you the differences between two given tire sizes. The tires I'd like to go with gave me a warning that there was too much difference in the overall circumference and diameter....but from what I'm reading in these forums, it will be fine. Stock tires are 285/75-16 overall diameter 32.83" Tires I want are 325/50-22 overall diameter 34.79" Their warning was that you shouldn't go over a 3% increase and the above is a 5.64% increase. It also says that the speedometer will read 5.971% too slow. When travelling 60mph, it will actually read 56.6mph. Anyone care to comment? I've seen that many in these forums go with 34 or 35" tires without issue, except for maybe adjusting the front end to allow for some clearance....which I plan on doing. A friend of mine has 305/50-20 Toyo Open Country A/T's on his H3 and loves them.....so that's the brand I plan on going with. Good choice? (I don't plan on doing any offroading, but want the rugged 4x4 look that's intended for the H3.

if you want to stick with a hummer/off road look don't go bigger than 20" and go with a 35x12.5x20 if you feel the urge to go with 22" the 325/50/22 you picked earlier would be the best choice chances are with either on of these wheels you will have to crank your torsion bars 2-2.5 turns each to get more clearance on turns..I like big rims that is all i've ever had on all my rides but don't forget you now have a hummer..

Gotcha on the offset...very familiar with how it orientates the wheel on the vehicle (from many years toying around with several high HP mustangs) The wheels I'm looking at have a +20 which should put it out there just a bit and allow the rim to have a nice deep dish / lip on it. The wheels are Driv Moonshines and should look pretty good on the Boulder Gray. I'll definitely be posting up some pics once I get them on. Here's the wheel
