ooppssieeee ... I just saw that you've been to Vegas. My bad ... Two suggestions for a relaxing trip: How about going to the mountains, the North Georgia mountains are beautiful, there aren't alot of things to do. Alot of sight seeing, hiking, alot of really nice resturants, alot of the great outdoors to enjoy and breathe in some fresh mountain air. Since your the adventerous type you could go to lookout mountain, they hang-glide off the mountian. I personally haven't done it but, it would be a really beautiful trip down. This would be my choice ... the Biltmore http://www.biltmore.com/ in Asheville, North Carolina. It is a beautiful place, very romantic and relaxing. They have a winery, 8,000+ acres of beautifully landscaped (would be very pretty in May) grounds with a huge lake. You can canoe on the lake, go horseback riding, ride bikes or go hiking. That would be a really nice vacation for me, from a female perspective that is. What a nice husband you are!! Your wife's a very lucky lady!!

You can get cheap air tickets on DELTA to NICE, the Monaco/St Tropez area is beautiful and I can find you a number of very charming, not expensive, hotel by the seaside. Believe me NOTHING is more romantic than enjoyin a fresh grilled fish on the old port of St TROPEZ. You're welcome.

ORIGINAL: dilo2001gt want to take her somewhere she hasn't been. In the two years we have been married I'M GUESSING THE BEDROOM Mark: I just want to say thanks for making me spit my coffee all over my keyboard. It's really awsome to clean up That's funny as hell (not that hell is a very funny place) IK: Have you ever watched Beauty and the Geek? That is the story of my life my friend. I always attracted the hot girls with my ability to actually LISTEN to them instead of you know what (although that came later and yeah always a good time there ) (and on a side note, my wife got her hair done on Sunday and told everybody there that "He's my little geek" and I'm thinking, ok a man that knows how to fix everything in the world, likes to dance, go out for drinks, and thinks every other woman out there is hot, and I'm a geek for that? DOH! Apparently the women there thought that was cute. Damn I already know I'm headed for disaster) TigerLily: I will definintely check out those places. That's exactly what I am looking for, although Niagra Falls seems cool too. I know she's always wanted to go there. Sugardaddy: Where is this island you are talking about? I'll have to search it on the web. I haven't heard of it before. That sounds like a good plan also. We took a cruise two weeks after we were married, but she has been on about 6 or 7 in her life, and being only 22, she is sick of them. I personally liked it, but found that they really don't give you much time to get out and do things. I was a little dissappointed. She is dying to go to Alaska, but again that's something I'm going to do when we can take a train ride through the mountains and get a room on the train.

The island of Okrakoke (sp?) is part of the Outer Banks. At the southern most tip of Hatteras. You have to board a ferry with your vehicle and travel about 30 minutes or so. It's awesome. Very, very relaxing. In fact, I'm into Pirates and the have a Blackbeard musiam there. It's also where he was killed and his ghost is suppossed to be still searching for his head that was cut off. Maybe Dennis can go down too and take some pics to see if there are any orbs! LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hmmm let's see, some place nice but not too expensive.....in May...maybe Key West? (I'm partial to sun, surf and sand in the warm months myself) I personally prefer places down here that are less touristy, but Key West is a great place to go and party and play! Like Paige says, Vegas is always good...Nawlins in the French Quarter is good....cruises are nice....
