Thanks Shorty..That's all I need to hear...Speaking of hearing, are they pretty quiet for the life of the tread..if you know?

quieter than the BFG M/T from what i've heard. i've never actually had the A/T, although they're the stock H2 tire. the bus had the M/Ts on it when i bought it, which were pretty quiet. i sold them and the blingy rims and went to the toyo M/T, and they're surprisingly quiet considering the tread. the A/T is a good tire, and can provide some help if you happen to run over the neighbor's flower garden (help for you, the flowers will need some big time . . . .)

How are the BFG M/Ts in snow/ice? I can't image they're all that great unless they have siping done.

I had the A/T's and M/T's and on steep hills with heavy snow I could not get up it with the A/T's but did with the M/T's. The A/T's load up with snow much more than the M/T's. Good thing about the A/T's is they come in a 295-75-16. NOTHING beats chains in snow which is why I did not go to a 35" tire as there is no room for chains.

Oh hell no!..the wifey will NEVER drive my girly-man truck...I was hoping for good advise on a set of manly type tires for the future, if I ever need to replace the originals after they wear out.

if you want manly tires, go with a toyo M/T or Cooper SST
