Just would like to know anyone's impressions of the Bridgestone REVO's...If and when I wear out the Duelers (LT285/75R16) I was wonder about a replacement tire..

I just learned there may be a better tire yet..BFGs A/T...Yes, good on road and if you really must..Off road too[sm=icon_stickpoke.gif]

shortbus -> RE: Tires (3/14/2006 9:43:00 AM)

the A/T is a good tire, can't go wrong there.[sm=goodidea.gif]

Thanks Shorty..That's all I need to hear...Speaking of hearing, are they pretty quiet for the life of the tread..if you know?

shortbus -> RE: Tires (3/14/2006 12:39:28 PM)

quieter than the BFG M/T from what i've heard. i've never actually had the A/T, although they're the stock H2 tire. the bus had the M/Ts on it when i bought it, which were pretty quiet. i sold them and the blingy rims and went to the toyo M/T, and they're surprisingly quiet considering the tread. the A/T is a good tire, and can provide some help if you happen to run over the neighbor's flower garden (help for you, the flowers[sm=gears.gif] will need some big time . . . .)

How are the BFG M/Ts in snow/ice? I can't image they're all that great unless they have siping done.

shortbus -> RE: Tires (3/14/2006 2:19:13 PM)

i didn't have mine long enough to test in the snow, but aired down the A/Ts did great on our snow run last month (another H2 had them)

StarsnBars -> RE: Tires (3/15/2006 10:11:32 AM)

Really like my ProComp Xtremes A/T 's Nice ride,, Very good in snow, Average in mud. Price was right too. Buy 3 get 1 free deal. This special is running now too.

skeeet -> RE: Tires (3/16/2006 3:29:30 AM)

I had the A/T's and M/T's and on steep hills with heavy snow I could not get up it with the A/T's but did with the M/T's. The A/T's load up with snow much more than the M/T's. Good thing about the A/T's is they come in a 295-75-16. NOTHING beats chains in snow which is why I did not go to a 35" tire as there is no room for chains.

Oh hell no!..the wifey will NEVER drive my girly-man truck...I was hoping for good advise on a set of manly type tires for the future, if I ever need to replace the originals after they wear out.[sm=smiley14.gif]

shortbus -> RE: Tires (3/16/2006 10:00:31 AM)

if you want manly tires, go with a toyo M/T or Cooper SST
