if you want manly tires, go with a toyo M/T or Cooper SST

Thanks bud..I'll look into those too..mainly, I want a good on/off road tire that remains quiet throughout it's tread life and wears long.

The BFGs A/T sounds from what you said and others, like they fit the bill..

I believe the Revo is listed as a P285-75-16 and the P is for a passenger car tire vs the LT light truck tire that comes with the H3. The very best tire at this time is the BFG T/A KD or the M/T KD.

Those are passenger car tires..I think you mean BFG's All-Terrain T/A KO, if you're talking about for the H3 or like SUV.

People are putting the Revo A/T on their H3's and it is marketed as a truck like tire , after all, what car can fit a 285-75-16 tire? The Revo AT tire is just not built as tough as a LT or light truck tire and of all the current LT tires the BFG A/T or M/T KD are the toughest, best built tires made.

Dennis _ I do not understand your point?

Maybe I'm misunderstanding too..But according to TIRE RACK Those KD's are listed as Passenger tires..That's all I meant...See what I mean?

i had a set on a 03 blazer 4dr 2wd. they were 10 times better than the tiger paws that came on it. the biggest reason for the change was the tiger paws sent me and the family across 3 lanes of traffic in a heavy storm. so i did research on TIRE Rack. and i went with the revo's. they are every thing they said! the only thing they aren't great at is off roading . they can hold there own but under extreme off roading they could be better . but if you want a good urban tire you can depend on i would go for them! and they are nicely priced!

Not in a H3 yet but have been through both the AT's and the MT's the AT's are an all around better tire, the MT's are better looking! the MT's do not do as wel in the snow hate to say it. You can make up for that by siping the tread, makes a big difference on ice and wet conditions! Looking forward to putting some under an H3! Good luck!

I'll never wear out my Bridgstone Duelers on my H3, I trade in every 3 years. But I do have BFG MT's 31x10.5x15 on my Jeep Cherokee and they are awsome.

I had the BFG A/T KO's on my last car (Isuzu Vehicross) and they were great! they are very quiet and have great traction in the rain. Also they are now and have been for the last year or two Snow Rated. For thoes who don't know what this is the tiers have a triangular symbol with a snowflake over it and this means the tire has met the standard to be used in extrem snow conditions. This is due to the type of rubber compound used to make the tire. You can get exact details on there site. As for the traction in snow I never had a problem, in fact when I wanted them to skid just to play around I had to work at it. I would say these are by far the best all around tires. And they have a long tread life from what I know. I only put about 8000 miles on the set I had befor I sold the VX.
