Chewbarka, (Love your ID by the way) I got ProComp chrome 6079's with Beadlock rings and Swamper TrxUs mud terrains. I'm loving them so far, the chrome is outstanding and the swampers are more civilized than I expected.

Looks good..But after all that hassle, I would've traded the POS in on a Ford.. [/quote] Holy Crap Dennis! ! ! After going back and re-reading my initial post, I did sound like that other dudette bitching about his H3 ! ! ! I just get frustrated with processes and people when they don't work as advertised. Plus, due to my fooked up work schedule, I had a very limited amount of time to get all my crap delivered and installed. Being a project manager and disaster recovery planner by profession, I don’t have the luxury of not delivering as promised. Hence my tendency to get so damn irritated when sh*t doesn’t go as planned. Sorry about my original diatribe. Think I'll start a new thread tomorrow so I can distance myself from this freakin' whine.....

Hi Gunner Chewbarka was my dogs name so I started a Pet tag business! I found the rims but where are the Beadlock rings? Which size tire and what size or model # for the rims Did you have to raise the truck to make them fit? Sorry for all the question, I am Very new to the H3 world! I realy don't want to buy the wrong package. My wife has warned me that I can do anything I want to the Hummer BUT don't screw it up!!!

I'll get the invoice out of the truck later on and post the part numbers for you. The beadlocks arent on the web site for some reason.... unless you search on the part number itself. As for being new to the H3, brother I feel your pain. I just got mine back in August and love the sh!t out of it. Aint near as simple as the "Old Iron" I used to wheel in...... I've found this forum to be invaluable.... Learned a lot and saved a lot of money by seeing what works for other people. Oh yeah...the front end.....Dealer cranked the TB's and I put some Cognito extended shocks on the front. Firm but nice ride now. Just a few more things and then I;m done with it for now.

I've got a thick skin. Besides, I've read almost all the posts on this site all the way back to when God was a boy. I have a pretty good idea of when you are "laying it on thick". (However, I did think you had a point) Speaking of which (reading posts), I find it difficult sometimes to not chime in on some things because it feels like I know you guys. Whether it be Dilo, IK, Humbob, Shortbus or yourself.....I sort sort of have you guys at a disadvantage knowing your history while you know nothing about myself or any other newbie. So...If ....I / We post something that makes you go WhoTF does this guy think he is....Well, now you know. As for the delays and misqueues, FWP did come through in the end and Stallion Customs turned out to be some stand up guys as well. Cognito Motorsports did EXACTLY what they said they were going to do.....and Teaka Toys was johnny on the spot. I just wish I could say that about a few of the other vendors. Live and learn. I think I'm gonna like this tire and wheel package. I'm really diggin' the wheels and I've never had a Swamper let me down. Hopefully I'll get you guys some better shots tomorrow of the "made over" rig. It's come a long way from that "just of the lot look" and no longer looks like every other black H3 in town (here in Dallas, that's a lot! ! ! )..

Chewbarka, here is the info you requested. Wheels PXA 6079-7983 17x9 6-5.5 4.75 BS Rings PXA 7179173000 17" Chrome Beadlock rings Tires Interco Super Swamper TrxUs Mud Terrain Radials 12.50 X 33 The wheels do come in black and the rings come in several different colors. My second choice was a black rim/ chrome lugs and center cap/ chrome ring and black hardware. They are proud of the damn things though. Just keep ****ing with 'em and they will throw in some extra stuff or not charge you extra for something Keep me posted on what you finally choose....Can't wait to see it.

I agree that as a newbie myself, I'm probably overly keen, as I'm so thrilled with my H3, and this great site and friendly members. The fact that we as newbs have covertly been reading the past posts, has given us a sense of familiarity with everyone else, which means that my posts may come across as arrogant or as a smart-a$$ to long time members when I have not "earned my stripes". Certainly not trying to step on any toes. Gunner_45, your rig looks great, glad things have worked out, and I can't wait to see more pics. I think it's great to see all the variations people do to their vehicles, and the great advice/help that comes from contributing ideas.

ORIGINAL: importkiller looks good gunner...glad it all worked out for you!! Also if you do get teh TPM message it will only show up once every ignition cycle, just push in the trip odo. button and the message will go away and stay away until the next ignition cycle....not a big deal at all. I have had no sensors in my aftermarket wheels for 4 or 5 months now and have recieved the serv tps message like 4 times. Thanks IK. Your insight regarding rim fitment had a lot to do with the wheels I chose. TPMS: You are right, it is no big deal.....More of a curiosity than anything. I wonder...Could different software Rev's make the TPMS behave differently between the model years? Like I said earlier, mine alarmed with no rhyme or reason: "Sometimes after cranking, sometimes 10 miles into my commute, sometimes only once, sometimes 3 times". Wierd, weird, weered........ BTW: What kind of shop Manual/CD do you have? I'd like to invest in one myself. Got any reccomendations?
