Has anyone added backup sensors to their H3? Can the dealer do this?

Brad, below is a copy of my posting from the 'backup camera' thread... I think the following link will work. It's the entire thread, and a good discussion on backup cams vs. sensors: http://www.hummerforums.com/m_26532/tm.htm Previously posted-------- Here are a couple of pics of the backup sensor I installed yesterday. It's been 24 hours and I haven't backed into anything! The system is from Crimestopper and is called the "Backstopper Rear Vehicle Impact Warning System". I tried the Walmart camera and wasn't happy with it and returned it. I like this system a lot better. I have several wholesale connections with consumer electronics manufacturers and distributors. Bought this from a distributor of mine. Cost was approx $50.00. Here's a description from their website------------------ Peace of Mind: You can feel safe when putting your vehicle in reverse. Easy Parking: Especially for parallel parking Situations. State-of-the Art Design: Compact size, using the latest ultra-sonic technology. Prevent Accidental Impact: Alerts you to small animals, people or low unseen objects. Rear View Advantage: More accurate than back-up cameras. Extra-Wide Detecting Angle: Prevent side impacting, convenient for garage parking. Visual Warning: Dash Mounted LED Panel with Numeric Distance and Colored LED. (4) Insert-Type Sensors: Stylish Factory Look. Can be painted. Audible Warning: 3 Distinct Beep Tones Notify You of the Distance to an Object. Interior Alert: Warning beeper included. Saves you Money: Preventing unnecessary accidents save you money due to increased insurance premiums and high repair costs.

Dennis, I have been really interested in the Dolphin Sonar Step since I first saw your post in this thread. I was wondering if you really liked it? I checked out the link to truckfancy.com that Dilo posted and it appears to be a quality piece of equiptment (It should be for $ 200.00). I also did a search on ebay, but most of the other units on there look like junk. Now that I have mounted a 35" tire on the back, the already limited visibilty has decreased. Any responce would be appreciated.
