Come on Mark...use some imagination bro...you can hide the wire somewhere!!! I had one on my dually and I glued the screen to my rear view mirror, then ran the wire between the windshield and the headliner, and down the A pillar.

so the wire sticks out of the unit 1 1/2" and you can't bend it? I'm guessing that's what you mean? Take a pic...I'll come up with something for you

I dont have help for ya on the back up cam, but do your self a favor and hold off (if you can) on getting a new phone till the end of January. The CES ( Consumer Electronics Show) trade show is out here in a couple weeks. This is "THE CONVENTION" for new electronics and gizmos. I have it from a very good source that they are going to premier a few new phones and PDA's that will put Treo's and Blackberries too shame...Just passing on some inside info if your interested..

Here is a pick of my monitor, I spent a couple of weeks mulling over where to install it. I'm not overly happy with this but seemed to be the best I could come up with

I have the same monitor as you. I just slide mine in above the rear view mirror and headliner. I did add a piece of adhesive foam to tighten the fit and ran the wire along the headliner and donw the pillar cover. And now as you look at the rear view mirror, you also can see the monitor.

I think it looks dumb up on the dash..But at least it ain't a 19" laptop..so I suppose it's better than that in some respects

Just my opinon.

I think I may give the rear view mirror method a try. I think it's O.K.on the dash but not great, Also it's kind of wierd when backing up to try and use it where I have it located and also use the mirror

Don't have a pic but this should be an easy visual. I mounted mine behind the visor with velcro and ran the wire along the door trim. Yes the black wire is visible but not so much it's distracting. Haven't tried to hitch the trailer up yet but it doesn't look as if i can see the hitch with the cam to the extreme left side of the hum.

Here's my integrated navigation/back-up monitor...

...and the location of my color back-up camera.

BTW, it works great during the day and at night.
