I agree a diesel H3 would probably sell well. Don't know why they won't do a Duramax H2 either. If they did I would pick-up one up tomorrow.

I agree with that 100% or how about a Duramax in a 2500HD Suburban...  I would trade in my truck in a split second if they offered the Duramax in a Suburban or H2.  GM hasn't offered a diesel in the Burb since like 99, and that was their crappy pre-Duramax diesel.

I mentioned the diesel thing to the salesman when we picked up my wifes H3 and she said no plans for the diesel but they are supposed to have a v8 option for the H3 in 08.  Wether that is true or not who knows.

you will see alot of diesels start to hit the USA in 2010. Cummings already signed a deal with Dodge to build 2 light duty turbo diesel for their 1500 and for SUV'S. A 4.2 V6 and a 5.6 V8 to be exact. The Ram 1500, Durango and Jeep Grand Cherokee are going to be the first to get the new powerplant.Ford has a 4.4L diesel sourced from land Rover to use in their F-150. All these are new generation "clean" Diesels and will hit the showrooms the beginning or middle of 2010.
