Hey guys. I'm new to the forum. I'm picking up my '07 H3 next Saturday. I want to add a sub/amp combo to the factory Monsoon system. I know it's not the optimum setup, but I don't want to upgrade the components on a leased vehicle. I'm only leasing it for 27 months.

Anyway, what kind of sub(s) are some of you running? I was thinking maybe either one JL 10W6v2 or 10W7. I want to keep the box as small as possible. I have a boat and I'll be constantly loading up the trunk with stuff. I don't want to remove the box everytime I go fishing.

Thanks!

Dom

do you mean replacing the sub that comes with the monsoon system? Or adding anothe one? To add another one you will need a special adapter...this one to be specific:

If you are talking additional subs, then that is all personal preferance. I have always preferred mtx, or the higher end audiobahn stuff. Currently I have around 2700 watts and am running 3 audiobahn alum10q's. they sound great in the 3 but do take up room.
