The little corner of the world I work in is kinda like that.. Other remotes I've had on various vehicles won't respond at all around here and the H3's has very limited range.. Of course you can stand outside our front door and count no less than 8 high mast radio antennas.. LOTS of RF around here...

I had this problem once when I parked in an underground parking garage. Ever since then, it's work ok without any other issues.

Add another H3 owner to this issue list. The service advisor swapped the battery, then the rubber keypad part and it has still acted up (albeit less).
Sounds like a widespread problem...
