Do you have a K&N and did it run bad?

No, it ran fine, and yes, I do have K&N, but this isn't the MAF, it's the MAP.  Two different things.  The MAP measures air pressure in the engine, not air flow.

I didn't either, until I got the MAP error message on my OBDII scanner.  Mike had it replaced.  I'm going to pick it up in a few hours.  I had that, the rear fluid sprayer motor replaced , the warped a-pillar covers (again) replaced and the loose half-shaft checked.  I'm in line to get the new one, whenever GM decides to make the damn replacement part

That figures.  And then GM was playing dumb when it first happened.  You think if it existed in one car with the same engine they would acknowledge it earlier.  They probably thought they had it fixed, or maybe it just happened with the '06 Colorado's.  Interesting

Hi Group,
Just bought my H3 in May and the steering column is clunking but that's another thread.  My question is...Did GM fix the head and valve problem or is it still an issue?  Mine is a 2007 (Late Production) with the relocated window controls.

there is either a tsb or campaign to replace the cylinder head on this issue. if i understand correctly the exhaust seats are loosening from the head.
