gang, coming from years of Harley/two wheel brotherhood, we tend to wave at eachother when we pass. So I'm toolin' along in my 3 feelin' all jacked up from pure excitement and I pass a couple of other 3's and felt the need to acknowledge them. I never did that with my jeep GC. WTF? I'm certain I'll not get an acknowledgment in return other than an extended middle finger. LMAO!

Sh1t maybe that's the salutation!

any help or do I need to manage my displaced h3 excitemtent? If so when does this honeymoon wear off?

It will be a year old for in Janurary..My honeymoon with it, is still going strong.

You don't see many Hummers, and when you do they really stick out. Just keep waving and you'll get responses. [sm=hiya.gif]

Well I hope there is nobody like this on this forum.[:@][:@][:@] Being in the bus industry and dealing with stupid people everyday…lets just say it takes a lot to make me down right mad. But this simpleton moron today pushed just the right buttons!
 
I was at a signal when an H2 pulled up next to me, naturally I gave a wave and the passenger gave me the finger. I asked what his problem was and he asked me what’s the matter couldn’t afford an H2. Yes I could afford an H2 but wanted the H3 and quickly replied what’s the matter couldn’t you afford an H1 again he popped me the bird and drove off.[:@][:@][:@]
 
Ahhhhh I guess it isn’t worth getting all worked up about self-centered f%&# heads. Hope he gets stuck in 7 feet of snow this winter!!![:D][:D][:D]

I do not judge a group by a few chitheads...in general most people I have met were very nice people H2 and 3 owners but there was another that said it was just a mean looking body on top of a Trailblazer frame... as  said I do not judge by the stupidity of a few...[8D][;)]

Just like I'M PISSED at a few H3'ers around here!! I ALWAYS wave, and they leave me hangin' like a NEWB!!! But I know MOST H3'ers are warm, cuddly, fuzzy kinda folk![;)]

I've given up on the wave... for now anyway...

I used to always wave, yesterday I drove a little slow in traffic so that a maroon H2 that had some beadlock rims on it and some other things done to it could catch up to me so I could give him the thumbs up.... and he fuggin cut me off!! I quit. done waving to people with Hummers in the south hills

Yeah, that's me too...Tired of the blank stares and the no responses..I keep an eye peeled though, in case some HUMMER owner with class decides to initiate the first wave..then I'll reciprocate.[sm=hiya.gif]

Did a little field research of my own this past week.

(With a 30 mile commute, one way…….what the hell…..)

General public:  3 fingers, 1 thumbs up, 3 cutoffs

H3 owners:  1 wave, 1 thumbs up, mostly blank stares

Note: Most H3’s I see are stock or Bling Buggies, not many set up for off road

H2 owners: Blank stares, if that......(See above note)

H1 owners:  I’d have better luck spotting big foot

Jeepers: 3 waves and a couple of blanks stares

New FJ owners: Couple of waves, one with a smile and 1 actual conversation.

(The one FJ guy already had front and back armor, winch, lights, lift and 33’s)

(and a sweet silver and white paint job)

Nicest FJ I have seen, other than in SEMA photos.

I’m just glad the blatant Hummer hate I had first experienced has abated somewhat.

Hell, maybe I’ve just grown a thicker skin. After all, I bought this thing to please me.
