I'm up to 11.6mpg. I recently switched form Sunoco to BP. I don't know if this is the reason or that the engine is breaking in. Just went over 7000 miles.

My -03 with about 46K on it or there abouts average about 11.9-12.1 each tank. This being a mix between city and highway of course .. and I fuel nothing but BP if I can help it!

You have one bright side to the piss poor milage Mike...Once you're ready to trade up to an H2, it won't be a shock for the fuel mileage and you'll actually appreciate better mileage..so it's a win, win!

true, except I wouldn't say that buying an h2 after owning an h3 is "trading up" Like I said, my dually got 3-5 mpg so mileage really doesn't bother me that much.

I just got to 39,000 mile and get 11.9 on my 05. Does the check engine lite come on when it's time for an oil change? PLEASE tell me "yes". I have 20% oil life nd my check engine light came on.

I don't think the engine light comes on for the oil change. You must have something else going on. Still under warranty?

Check engine light was gas cap not being on tight. Called OnStar... the tech diagnosed a emmision problem. After speaking with him, he suggested I check the gas cap since I had just fueled up earlier in the day. and Bingo. Problem solved!!!!

I am primarily going to be using the H2 for city driving, highway also but more city. I'd say about C:H => 80:20. What kind of mileage can I expect? Also, this is a used 03 with 40k miles on it.

My current car is a Subaru Legacy GT 2.5L Turbo. I get around 190-220 miles using 93 oct. on the 16g tank for mostly city useage. Will the H2 give me something similar to this on the 87 octane?
