Yep, It has struck yet another h3. The dealer said he has 2 h3's ahead of me for the same problem. Gave me a loaner car, and said lets hope its done before Christmas. They have had 7 or 8 in for this problem, and even ordered special tools for the work. Please change my vote from no problems to 20000-25000 miles. Thanks
Wayne

Sorry to hear about that SeaGar. The good news is the updated head has harder valvle seats to eliminate the problem. We have seen a couple at my dealer in the last 2 days . This job is not a good paying job so is a loser for everyone. Steve

Sure did Dennis.  The dealer had it for 3 weeks, couple holiday weeks in there.  I have a new head, seems to run fine now.  The dealer had 4 H3's in for this at the same time,  11 total so far.  I do miss the loaner SUV though, V8 Buick Rainer, only miss the V8. It's not a Hummer.  Will be checking the mileage to see what it is now.  Great guys at Jim Riehl Friendly Hummer in the Detroit area.

I will keep the extended warranty in mind if/when problems come up. Thanks for the heads up on this. I have been avoiding the head issue topics. Ignorance is bliss, right?

Eddie...I seriously don't think every stinkin H3 that's within that VIN range will be affected...I don't want to down play the ones that've had the problem by any means, my sympathies...But it's really simple to see not all of them are gonna break...My fingers, eyes, toes and testicles are crossed hoping I don't have to screw with this ordeal..

Isn't it uncomfortable wearing your thong with them crossed
