I just bought an 07 H3X. I would like to know how to access the stereo. I need to tap accessory power, but I do not want to break any dash components while trying to remove them. There is a "metal" trim piece around the entire stereo and I assume that must be removed in order to pull the stereo and access the rear. Also, has anyone had any luck with the "line in" module where you can supposedly easily add a line in by using their supplied cable. It appears that it plugs directly into the rear of the stereo, then provides a new connection for the original plug. Finally, I keep hearing that the XM module is behind the glove compartment. I folded the door down, found the antenna connections, but never saw anything resembling an XM receiver. Any help would be appreciated.

first off...welcome!!

To remove the trim piece put your finger in the acc. outlet holes in the trim piece and pull, Dennis has a picture of it..I'm sure he'll post it for you.

The add a line thing...what are you talking about? Add a set of rca's, add an aux. input or add a different satalite radio?

You are talking about the two 12V holes?

I am intersted in adding a line in without losing anything--like the sat rad.

What about the location of the XM? Do you know exactly where it is located?

Also, to clarify the line in--I want to add my Sirius S50 to the mix, without FM modulating it and without losing the XM.

yes I am talking about the 12volt holes, two finges in and pull, the radio bezel will pop right off.

Sirius to xm I believe is a switch over, can't have both. Not 100% sure but these guys are teh ones you need to talk to/ order from. Awesome company and GREAT products!
