if they sell it off, the H3 could likely go away with the name, possibly even the H2. AM General assembles the H2 for GM, but the H3 is totally in GMs hands. it could be if they get rid of it, AM General will go back to just the H1.

A certain YES to that :) They should split up and work for their own name...... GM is really giving Hummer a bad name

I really doubt we'll see a lack of H3s or H2s for a while yet..The sales of these guys are pretty much the bread and butter for GM, and the sales are still brisk according to my dealer..Says they sold 15 H3s just this past weekend.

well I would not trust what the dealer says at all, when I was shopping for my H3 they told me they sell all the comes in almost instantly and sometimes you have to wait for your car...... meanwhile I cam back after like a month and I still saw the same cars standing in the lot. if you check their inventoryin my dealer, they have the same VINs available for weeks time :D

Thanks Mark...I've looked into these as well. They are of the snake oil gizmos of things you find in this area. They basically are an inline resistor to fool the ECU into thinking the intake air is colder than actual and then in turn adjusts the fuel to air ratio. In essence it fools the ECU to add more fuel to the injection rate...."JET" is coming out with a plug and play module this spring that maps the ECU for better performance.

Thanks for keeping an eye out for me..

I live in N. Lake Tahoe and the elevation where i'm at is about 6500' and most of the roads are pretty steep and long. I'm thinking about getting an H3 but was concerned about power output. Do you think it will be sufficient for me?
FWIW, when i test drove the H3, the dealer did say they were coming out with a V8 for 2007

I just got off the dingwa with several places that handle Jet performance power chips..I was basically having them call Jet and nag them about when a power chip module would be availabe for the H3..more inquiries makes them move faster on production of one..So I suggest if anyone is interested in getting more bang from the H3 give them a call too and nag them...Latest news is that one will be available in about 60 day from now....
