I second (or 5th) everyone's comments... no charge. When mine got towed, a loaner (and rep) from Enterprise was waiting. He swiped my CC and DL and off I went. Next day, dropped the keys off to the service manager and that was that. I even (accidently ) gave them a CC that we had recently cancelled (my wife lost hers).

I may be wrong, but I was thinking, the only exception to the freebee loaner would be if your vehicle didn't spend the night in the shop. I can't be sure, but I believe the service guys found the problem the same afternoon. They probably could have returned my H3 late in the day, but they said they would test drive it 'again' in the morning.. and to return the loaner in the morning. (Strange comment.) Can anyone confirm that it needs to be held overnight?

The dealer has mentioned to me 2 times that you get a loaner if your baby has to stay in the shop overnight. Now, this is with the '07 warranty. Both times they had to keep it (installing tint, and a steering shaft) they had a loaner H3 waiting for me...they only made a copy of my insurance and driver's license and I was out the door. Best service I've had from any dealer.

I am going to call the other hummer dealer in NJ and ask what their policy is on it, might could be just a NJ thing....which I wouldn't put past this crap hole of a state...anything to make extra money off us.

Mike....They're FULL OF SH1T!!

I've had loaners for 3 days to 1/2 a day, with no problems/charge.

I really think it's the dealers discretion. And we all know there are AWESOME dealers and SH1TTY dealers!!

I've had everything from Enterprise Rental cars to picking one out of the demo line on the lot and never, NEVER; been charged a dime for it. This across several different makes and dealers in the Cinci area. Your dealer needs a lesson in customer service in my opinion!

I had a loaner when mine went in for 3 hours...No charge as long as I filled it back up when I brought it back. It was the dealers loaner car though because it had 7,000 miles and those grrrreat fake wood grain plastic lables epoxyed to the dash that said "Thank You For Not Smoking"

That dealer just plain SUCKS!!!! The're totally f-ing you. And apparently their service techs suck as well. The dealer that I used to take mine to also never had a clue either. They either never heard of the problem that I had, so therefore it was simply dismissed, even though I still have the same problem, or it didn't do it for them. I was talking to a Subaru tech the other day at a bar in Pittsburgh. He was from Cinncinati and was here for training. When he and I discussed some of my H2's problems, he told me that there's nothing wrong with the truck, it's just the incompetence of the techs!!! Now that I believe! Can I get an AMEN!! ZYNO here's you chance to look good in front of the in-laws.

here's the latest, got a call about 20 minutes ago and said that they couldn't find anything that would cause bad gas mileage other than the oversized tires and that I needed to put the stockers back on and bring it back in for them to conduct an real test, also said that there was a code for engine misfiring, I asked if it could be a symptom of the soft valve guide issue...he sounded kinda stunned and silent for a few seconds then said that for now it's ok but most all of the h3's they have seen with valve guide problems started with this type of code....WONDERFUL!!!!!!

Hell, I don't care...this is why I only leased it. My dad always said never buy a first year truck/motor, guess he was right again Let em put 5 new motors in it...as long as I get that Caddi as a loaner it's all good
