Hi im a new owner of a 2005 sut sorry i dont have a clue about how to post pics yet I have a quick question though i have the nav radio and im wondering if my radio should play a movie dvd. I know it is illegal to play while driving but is there any way to play when parked ive tried in park ignition on as well as off and with the ebrake on i get a message that its not the maop disc installed.

I could be wrong, as I'm not an Audio/video geek..But I think the NAV CD player is only for a specially programmed disk that has your NAV system stuff on it...It won't recognize the format your DVD's have been recorded in...I think that's the case anyway.[sm=type.gif]

I think you're right Den ... No factory nav I've had in prior vehicles handled anything but the nav DVD's .. Wonder if there's a way around it. I'd be interested in replacing my 6-disc in-dash if there is. Will see what the dealer has to say about it Monday.
