I can't decide? TSLs or BFG M/Ts

the biggest TSL i can fit i think are the 33/13s and the biggest BFG i can fit are the 35/12.50s

i am a daily driver and weekend mudder so what do ya think?

any other tire suggestions or other sizes?whats the biggest tire that will fit on the H3?

if the BFGs pull almost as good as the TSLs i would get them but don't know if they do. but i like the price on the TSL better just tell me what you would do?

who makes TSL? if you can't go with a Toyo m/t, i'd go for the BFG. preference would be toyo though, great tire

I've got Toyo open country MT 33, I have to say that these are great tires on and off road.

if this is your daily driver... i'd go with the BFG's over the TSL's. BFG M/Ts will wear MUCH better and still be a good weekend warrior.

If you go off roading often I personally would not recommend!! Toyo A/T's there not as aggressive as the M/T's, the A/T's are a bit more aggressive then the H3 stock tires.
I've had the M/T's since June, this is my daily ride also and the ride is not to stiff or noisy.

do a searsch on here, there are multiple threads talking about this. BFG tires blow IMO...plain and simple. Any tire you can buy at your local Sears store ain't that great I've ripped too many sidewalls on bf tires to ever buy them or recommend them again.Toyo is a good tire but not for real mud as their tread pattern doesn't clean very well in sticky stuff, might be good on rocks and dirt but not that great in mud. Plus they are WAYYYYYY over priced. I assume the TSL's you are talking about are the interco tsl boggers? Great tire but you can go to 35", if they don't make the size in a tsl, look for an SSR, same tread lug pattern but in a radial tire with alot of size choices. Or you can always go with a mickey thompson

The Toyo M/T are actually excellent in the mud, Mickey thompson tires from what I've seen look to be a very good tire also.

the toyo's that my buddy had never cleared mud...never!!The way your tires look in the pic are the way these tires were and you couldn't spin em clean...real annoying and dangerous too, I know my dually had a nice dent in the front bumper from where his suburban lost traction and slid down the hill into me Did they maybe change tread design in the last few years? This was going back 6 years or so.

Schweeet

what size tires are those? 33 x 12.5 x 18s? or 35s? I'm seriously leaning toward's the MTs. 4WheelParts has a $75 off special on any set of 4 MT tires (the store in my area anyway). How's the ride and road noise of those you have there?

I have the Mickey Thompson Baja MTZ's. They even stay on as my daily driving as well. Low road noise and off road will run circles around most with their superior traction. I highly reccomend them!

thanks! they are 35x12.5x17 I agree with hummer mike, very low road noise on road, plus there is alot of siping so they have better road handling charactoristics than most mud terrains. Off road they are hard to beat.

Thanks guys for the reassurance, I've put them on order, just too bad it's backordered so I won't see it for another 4-6 weeks.

Import Killer, what's the offset on your rims? the rims that I ordered are 17 x 9 w/ an offset of +18, I believe the stocks are 7.5? wide with an +38 offset, so I'm already expecting it to stick out (not sure by how much though), we have recon here so the DMV is a stickler when it comes to tires sticking out of the fender wells...

my rims are +12 offset, they stick out but not a major amount, you can tell by these pics.
