Don't where it goes, but part #15966425 shows to be a front plug, listing for $4.01

May have come from the around the firewall...

Ir does look like a firewall plug..But what was it doing falling off the rear driver's side tire area??

Anyway I crawled around underneath and looked from stem to stern and didn't see any place that it could have came from..So hang on to it, you may come across a hole somewhere in the future that's lacking a plug..But I sure can't see where it could've came from..How long have you had this HUMMER?..Maybe something the factory left setting somewhere and it just now fell out.

And let's be honest..you slammed the door

Thanks for crawlin around! I think you just like an excuse to go admire how clean yours is under there. You can check mine out if you want...I havent washed it since we went muddin the other day!!

I was thinking it was a firewall plug too...but dont have the slightest clue how it ended up back there! I got it in May and last night it did get rocked pretty good so maybe it was just an extra part somebody left in there. Woo hoo! Thats $4.01 for FREE...yeaaa stickin it to the man!!!!!

No sticking it to the man here...all those parts are accounted for at the factory...if the factory left it laying around on your rig that only means someone elses rig down the assembly line is missing one of those somewhere...

haven't looked at mine but I know my tahoe had plugs like that on the bottom of the door. Everytime I went over rough terrain the dumb thing would fall out.

Open the tailgate and look below the taillight housing on each side. Not on the tailgate but on the truck in the jamb area. Those are plugs that go on each side. One obviously fell out. Mine is missing one too. I guess it's common they fall out. Maybe glue it back in?

Good find HM...I was out looking around and found them too..just where you say...They pull out real easy..they are now glued in place with a little RTV silicone sealant.

There is two when you open the back door the door with the tire on it .Mine fell out last winter plugs back in my left one near the piston was missing.
When i was at the dealer i showed them they said it will take two hours to put that one in they had a extra weld in the hole they would have to get a small tool in there to grind it out i said forget it.
Time the truck starts to rust i will not have it.

One of mine had a extra weld in the hole so it would not plug in.

Be easier to trim the $4 plug just a bit to get it to sit in place better and then silicone the ****ens out of it...

I need to call the dealer and get a new one. It must have fallen off while driving.
