OH MY GOSH.....THAT SAME THING FELL OFF MY H3 TOO!!!! I've only had my H3 for almost 4 months. I was just going to post the same topic. It fell off from the rear by the gas tank about a week ago and I have been driving just fine. No problems...yet. Maybe I should go to the dealer.
Heavens girl..Just put a little glue around the edges and stick it back in...It serves no function other than to cover a hole that does nothing.

Ah yeah, what he said.

Good find Ghostrider! Mines probably gone too. I'll have to check. I'm assuming when we off road all the bumping around makes them fall off.

I had the exact same thing happen to me. I shut the rear door and as I was walking away I saw the piece laying there. I opened the door and saw the two holes we are all talking about, but they were plugged still. I looked all over the door and found nothing. I threw the plug in the back and figured I would find the hole eventually. Now I know I wouldn't. So, my question is, if so many people have seen this thing fall off, how many have missed it laying on the ground or had it fall off while driving? What a crappy design.

Ghostrider,

Nice find! It looks like this area leads into another area behind the inside trim piece. Is it possible that the sub blew the plug out?

Good thinking! Thats very possible..I do have the monsoon system and its usually turned up loud. I have a feeling that it is a hole to inside the cabin because they are only falling off when the door closes. If you take it off and look at it, there are wear marks around the hole where you can see the plug doesnt just sit there quietly, it gets bumped around quite a bit so I think mine probably got rattled loose from my muddin and then the air pressure inside blew it the rest of the way off when the door closed.
